Baseball Recap: Ridgeline Takes a Loss

Ridgeline blew Green Canyon out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Green Canyon got their revenge. The Riverhawks fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Riverhawks were not able to get on the board.

Ridgeline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddux Jensen, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Green Canyon, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-13.

While Ridgeline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
