Volleyball Recap: Woodland Bobcats vs. Wadley Bulldogs

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wadley Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.

Woodland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-13, 26-24.

Amya Brown continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wadley, getting 50 digs, ten kills, eight aces, and five blocks. Brown is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season.
