Chatham is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let William Campbell get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Wednesday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

On the mound, Liggon struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Short pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Liggon has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Liggon got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and four RBI, while Short scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those RBI marked the first that Liggon brought in this season.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Chatham has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Appomattox County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.7 strikeouts.
