Basketball Recap: Corinth Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Corinth can now relate to. They fell to the Gentry Rams 46-40. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Corinth and nudges their season record down to 10-19. As for Gentry, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-19.

Corinth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gentry, they will take on Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Canton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Gentry surely won't give up without a fight.
