Softball Recap: New Bremen Cardinals vs. Hardin Northern Polar Bears
New Bremen won the last time they faced Hardin Northern, and things went their way on Friday too. The New Bremen Cardinals came out on top against the Hardin Northern Polar Bears by a score of 5-1.
Mackenzie Bornhorst was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Dammeyer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
New Bremen's victory bumped their record up to 9-12-1. As for Hardin Northern, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10.
New Bremen didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win vs. Ada on the 13th. Hardin Northern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
