Baseball Recap: McKay Takes a Loss

McKay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Lebanon Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 last Friday.

Tenson John made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Jacob Webster also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

McKay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lebanon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McKay will challenge rival Silverton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lebanon is set to take on their familiar foe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
