The Princeton Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Spring Creek Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Princeton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Princeton barely beat Goldsboro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Cougars 5-1 on Tuesday. Macie Allison was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Spring Creek after they claimed the first score on Tuesday, but it was Eastern Wayne who ended up claiming the real prize. The Gators fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Spring Creek have lost by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Princeton and bumps their season record up to 11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two games. As for Spring Creek, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-4.

Princeton took their victory against Spring Creek when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
