Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mescalero Apache). They blew past the Capitan Tigers, posting an 81-48 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Chiefs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mescalero Apache's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Capitan, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mescalero Apache will be home for the holidays to greet Tularosa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tularosa knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Mescalero Apache likes a good challenge. As for Capitan, they will host Dora at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
