Football Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Gets the Win

Plymouth Whitemarsh won the last time they faced Interboro, and Michael Giangiulio did his part to make sure it happened again. The Colonials had just enough and edged out the Buccaneers 26-23 thanks in part to Giangiulio, who rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles (1.5 for loss) and defending one pass.

Momodu Rogers and Mason Marshall-speights certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Rogers rushed for 231 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, while Marshall-speights rushed for 123 yards and one TD. Rogers showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 65 yards.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Interboro, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Plymouth Whitemarsh has already played their next matchup, a 37-31 defeat against Manheim Township on the 12th. As for Interboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-24 win against Upper Moreland on the 12th.
