Football Recap: Nedrose Takes a Loss

Nedrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 46-30 bruising from the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans.

Fynn Livedalen had a dynamite game For Towner-Granville-Upham., rushing for 105 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. Livedalen also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending one pass. Another player making a difference was Eduardo Guzman, who rushed for 82 yards and a pair of scores.

Nedrose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nedrose is set to face off against their familiar foe Dunseith on Friday. Meanwhile, Towner-Granville-Upham will challenge rival Divide County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
