Basketball Recap: A.L. Brown Takes a Loss

A.L. Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 63-48 fall against the West Cabarrus Wolverines. That's two games in a row now that the Wonders have lost by exactly 15 points.

Despite the loss, A.L. Brown still got an impressive performance from Ter?Ryan Brewer, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Brewer a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Sifford, who posted six points and five rebounds.

West Cabarrus got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trace Hall out in front who went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points. Camari Mccrae was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

A.L. Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for West Cabarrus, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

A.L. Brown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-45 loss against Lake Norman on the 15th. As for West Cabarrus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-57 defeat against Mooresville on the 14th.
