Basketball Recap: Weskan Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Weskan won the last time they faced Bethune, and Trey Allen did his part to make sure it happened again. The Weskan Coyotes simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Bethune Bobcats 64-28 thanks in part to Allen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. His evening made it 31 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Despite the loss, Bethune still got an impressive performance from Ty Morris, who posted 13 points and four steals.

Weskan pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.6 points. As for Bethune, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Weskan and Golden Plains will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Weskan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.7 points per game this season. As for Bethune, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-14 victory against Deer Trail on the 23rd.
