Basketball Recap: Spokane Takes a Loss

Spokane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 59-36 to the Southwest Trojans. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Spokane's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Southwest, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spokane will square off against Pleasant Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest, they will face off against Lighthouse Christian on Tuesday. Lighthouse Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.6 points per game this season.
