Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Westchester Comets, falling 93-35. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-15.

When it comes to explaining why University lost, don't look at Jonah Hansen. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points.

University now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Westchester, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

University and Fairfax will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. Fairfax will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something University surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westchester, they will face off against Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Westchester's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matches.
