There's no place like home for James Monroe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the PikeView Panthers on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: James Monroe took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-7, 25-14.

Ava Pitzer paced James Monroe's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pitzer got some help from Skylar Clarkson and her 14 assists. Pitzer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

James Monroe is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8-2 record this season. As for PikeView, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
