New Hope waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Corinth Warriors 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kaselyn Harcrow was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lexi McBrayer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lea Kathryn Hardy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

New Hope kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corinth only managed four hits.

New Hope pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Corinth, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

New Hope will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
