Volleyball Recap: Fleming Extends Home Winning Streak to 12 + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fleming had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2017.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-13.

Fleming was led to victory by Brooke Schaefer and Emoree Lousberg. Schaefer had 11 digs and four assists, while Lousberg had nine digs. That's the most assists Schaefer has posted since back in September.

Fleming's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3. As for Genoa-Hugo/Karval, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Fleming has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Stratton on the 13th. Genoa-Hugo/Karval does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
