Softball Recap: Olentangy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springboro, Olentangy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Perry County Central Commodores 9-8.

Olentangy got a great performance from A Custodio as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, N Tracy was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of C Taylor, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Olentangy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Perry County Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Olentangy will face off against Hilliard Bradley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perry County Central, they will square off against Springboro at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
