Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 62-23 loss at the hands of the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-43 back in January.

Midland's record is now 0-19. As for Calamus-Wheatland, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

Midland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-40 defeat against Easton Valley on the 14th. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bellevue on Monday. Bellevue knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Calamus-Wheatland likes a good challenge.
