Basketball Recap: Ella Jamison and Dakota Dean Secure Win for Midway

Midway won the last time they faced Rich Hill and things went their way on Friday too. The Midway Vikings came out on top against the Rich Hill Tigers by a score of 52-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Leading Midway to victory were Dakota Dean and Ella Jamison. Dean dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards, while Jamison posted 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Jamison is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Whitcraft, who earned four points and three steals.

Midway's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Rich Hill, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-31 win against Miami on the 10th. As for Rich Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-27 loss against Liberal on the 10th.
