Football Recap: Hackett Comes Up Short

Hackett lost against Booneville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets were beaten by the Bearcats 42-12. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

This is the second loss in a row for Hackett and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Booneville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hackett is set to take on their familiar foe Charleston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Booneville will face off against rival Greenland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
