Softball Recap: Tilton School Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Tilton School is still undefeated this season after their contest against St. Paul on Friday, but St. Paul's came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Rams came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Big Red. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Rams have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Tilton School's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Vrianna Mella, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Mella has snagged this season.

Tilton School pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for St. Paul's, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.

Coincidentally, Tilton School and St. Paul's will both be playing New Hampton School the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Big Red will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on May 3.
