Volleyball Recap: Holt Comes Up Short

Holt suffered their biggest loss since April 10th on Monday. They came up short against the Lutheran Cougars, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.

Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holt will venture away from home to square off against Fort Zumwalt South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lutheran, they will challenge Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
