The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Red Bank Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chattanooga Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

While Chattanooga Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Marion County on Tuesday as Chattanooga Christian made off with a 10-2 win. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Holden Lyons looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Keegan Nieckula was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. John Tinholt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Chattanooga Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marion County only posted an OBP of .290.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Red Bank's offense. They fell 3-0 to Walker Valley on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Red Bank saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anyer Alvarez, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Chattanooga Christian pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Red Bank, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
