Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Riley Wong and Morgan Ferguson Lead Liberty to Victory + How To Watch

Liberty waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Prosper Eagles. This was payback for the Redhawks, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Liberty might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Prosper scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Liberty was led to victory by Morgan Ferguson and Riley Wong. Ferguson had 20 digs and seven assists, while Wong had 19 assists and eight digs. That's the most assists Wong has posted over her last 12 contests. Emersyn Fink also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Prosper, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Liberty will face off against Celina at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Prosper, they will head out to challenge Lone Star at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
