Volleyball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

If Lockhart was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lehman on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions came up short against the Rouse Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

While Lockhart ultimately came up short, they really made Rouse work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 26-24, 25-15.

Lockhart's loss dropped their record down to 6-31. As for Rouse, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-18.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lockhart is set to square off against their familiar foe Glenn at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rouse will face off against rival Lehman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
