Baseball Recap: Christ School Gets the Win

Christ School was forced to take a big defeat against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles 13-12. The high-scoring effort was just what the Greenies needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Wells Alderman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Reece, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Christ School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Christ School's record now sits at 6-12-1. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Christ School by a score of 4-3 later that day.
