Soccer Game Preview: Hartland vs. DeWitt

The Hartland Eagles will head out to challenge the DeWitt Panthers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hartland will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Hartland's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Belleville 8-0. The result was nothing new for Hartland, who have now won five matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, DeWitt's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Forest Hills Northern by a score of 3-1. Given DeWitt's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Forest Hills Northern are ranked 91st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hartland's record now sits at 11-3-1. As for DeWitt, their record is now 12-0.
