Basketball Recap: Stockton Takes a Loss

Stockton and Ness City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Stockton had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Ness City Eagles 71-35. The Tigers lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in March of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 53-41 score last time.

Broxton Gall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ness City, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 15 steals. Those 15 steals gave Gall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakoda McDonald, who on his way to 10 points and eight boards.

Stockton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. Ness City's record is now 9-11.

As of now, neither Stockton nor Ness City have any future games scheduled.
