Advanced Math & Science Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Uxbridge Spartans with a sharp 13-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Adriann Murphy spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Madelyn Glynn and Brooke Laudate did most of the damage at the plate: Glynn went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Laudate went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
