Basketball Recap: Belton Finds Playoff Glory Versus Midlothian

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Belton walked away with it. They slipped by the Midlothian Panthers 57-56 on Tuesday.

Belton is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. Midlothian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-11.

Coming up, Belton will host West Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Belton is on a four-game streak of home wins, West Mesquite a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
