Soccer Recap: Maiden Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Maiden was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Mount Airy Granite Bears, falling 4-0.

Maiden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Mount Airy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Maiden will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Mount Airy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against East Wilkes on the 20th.
