Football Recap: Howland Takes a Loss

Howland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carrollton Warriors. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Howland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carrollton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Howland will take on West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carrollton, they will face off against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
