Baseball Recap: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Takes a Loss

Winnebago Lutheran Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lomira Lions, falling 13-3. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11. As for Lomira, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-12.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lomira, they will square off against Cedar Grove-Belgium on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
