Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Fairfax Stampede. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stampede this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 1st.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Fairfax, they moved to 5-11 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Central has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Metro Tech on the 28th. As for Fairfax, they will face off against Carl Hayden Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
