Greene Central came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 55-14 win over the Beddingfield Bruins. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leading Greene Central to victory were Dejuan Cobb and Joshua Cetnar. Cobb rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, while Cetnar threw for 156 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes. What's more, Cetnar racked up 149.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. JoJo Sanders was in the mix as well, providing Greene Central with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Greene Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. They are 4-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Despite the loss, Beddingfield still got an impressive performance from Kameron Pitt, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD. Pitt was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 52 yards.

Greene Central's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-5. As for Beddingfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
