Basketball Game Preview: Steele Comets vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs

Steele is 1-9 against Olmsted Falls since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Steele Comets will venture away from home to face off against the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Steele took a blow against Avon Lake, falling 43-11. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Olmsted Falls entered their tilt with Avon on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 57-32 win. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly 25 points.

Olmsted Falls' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.2 points per game. As for Steele, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Steele was taken down by Olmsted Falls 58-16 when the teams last played back in January. Can Steele avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
