Basketball Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss

Palisades lost against Northwestern Lehigh back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Palisades Pirates took a blow against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers, falling 73-40. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-22.

Palisades lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Blake Oglialoro, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Jack Trickel, who earned eight points along with seven boards and three steals.

Palisades is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
