Basketball Recap: McAuley Catholic skates past Everton with ease

On Monday, McAuley Catholic blew past the Tigers, posting a 62-29 victory on the road.

Everton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Daniels, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and six steals. Daniels has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 17 times he's played.

McAuley Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Everton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.

McAuley Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Golden City is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Everton will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
