Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mason). They put the hurt on the Center Point Pirates with a sharp 21-2 victory on Friday. The Punchers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Mason's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-3. As for Center Point, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mason will take on rival Harper at 6:30 p.m. on April 11. Meanwhile, Center Point is set to challenge their familiar foe Johnson City at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
