Soccer Game Preview: Sunnyside vs. Rincon/University

Sunnyside has won four straight games at home, while Rincon/University has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Sunnyside Blue Devils will host the Rincon/University Rangers at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Sunnyside's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four contests.

Sunnyside's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Nogales 8-0. It was an even better day for Angel Bracamontes Pulido as he scored five goals for his team.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Rincon/University's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 6-0 to Salpointe Catholic. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Rangers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sunnyside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 67 goals over those 12 contests. As for Rincon/University, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2.
