Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Faith Christian Academy extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jaxon Howard. The Faith Christian Academy Conquerors had just enough and edged the Community Christian Cyclones out 76-73 thanks in part to Howard, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 28 points along with eight boards and seven assists. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Ben Reese, who posted 18 points and five boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Community Christian lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Evan Gattis, who went 11 of 21 en route to 29 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Kovach, who went 9 for 18 on his way to 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Faith Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Community Christian, they moved to 17-4 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
