Basketball Recap: North Garland Comes Up Short

North Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 67-57 to the Rowlett Eagles. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 59-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rowlett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Mcmanigell, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 13 points. The dominant performance gave Mcmanigell a new career-high in points. Justin Adkison was another key player, putting up 13 points and five steals.

North Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Rowlett, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11.

North Garland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-50 win against Garland on the 3rd. As for Rowlett, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-51 loss against Sachse on the 3rd.
