Soccer Recap: Lakeside Finishes Even with Canyon Springs

For the first time this season, Lakeside was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Canyon Springs Cougars finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Lakeside's goal came courtesy of Chris Luis, who's now up to ten this season.

Lakeside's draw gives them a new season record of 4-4-1. Meanwhile, Canyon Springs' record is now 5-4-3.

Lakeside will welcome Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canyon Springs, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Canyon Springs face off against the Perris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Canyon Springs' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
