Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry lost against West Marshall back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bluejays fell 41-36 to the Trojans. Bluejays fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Trojans since Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Perry lost, don't look at Gustavo Drahos. Despite the final result, he shot 41% from the field en route to 29 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That was a full 80.6% of the Bluejays' points, marking the third time in a row Drahos has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Perry now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Marshall, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
