Basketball Recap: Norland Piles Up the Points Against Dr. Krop

There's no place like home for Norland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Dr. Krop Lightning, posting a 65-26 win. That looming 65-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Vikings yet this season.

Norland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Oneal Norelus led the charge by putting up 11 points and seven boards. What's more, Norelus also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Anthony Walcott was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Dr. Krop lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Luis Cassanova, who posted seven points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Clayton Owens, who earned six points and eight boards.

Norland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. As for Dr. Krop, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
