Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Scott County Cardinals. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in January of 2020.

Lincoln County now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Scott County, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lincoln County will head out to face off against Rockcastle County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott County, they will face off against Paul Laurence Dunbar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
