Norcross Blue Devils Dominate the State

April 19th certainly was a day for champions. The air was filled with Blue Devil fervor as the band played to the tune of "As Norcros Goes Marching On". The community was there to greet the players as they paraded down historic Norcross, on their way to Thrasher Park to receive the much sought after Max Preps Tour of Champions National Rankings Trophy.

After a victorious outcry by the Mayor of Norcross, yours truly took the stage and spoke of the Blue Devils historic run during a 30-3 season and state championship title. Sergeant Major Weeks of the Army National Guard then presented coach Eddie Martin with the Max Preps Tour of Champions Trophy.

All in all, it was a splendid affair and I hope I have the opportunity next year to congratulate the team on back to back state titles.
