Zionsville had won six straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 14-4 to make it seven. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Brownsburg Bulldogs. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Dylan Paino paced Zionsville's offense, picking up 17 kills. Paino got some help from Liam Vigil and his 49 assists. Jack Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Brownsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Will Gehring and Owen Ellis certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Gehring had 16 digs, while Ellis had 14 digs, 12 kills, and two aces. Gehring is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Zionsville has already played their next contest (against McCutcheon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brownsburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Center Grove on the 28th.
