Soccer Recap: Cristo Rey Research Triangle Takes a Loss

Cristo Rey Research Triangle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Carolina Friends Quakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Carolina Friends this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on March 10th.

Cristo Rey Research Triangle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Carolina Friends, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey Research Triangle will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burlington Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 8. Burlington Christian Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Cristo Rey Research Triangle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carolina Friends, they will face off against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
